I am a public health professional that calls the world home. A leader in social science research, program evaluation and monitoring, I specialize in public health with over 18 years of experience designing, implementing and evaluating prevention programs.


Broadly, my research focuses on the sociology of survivors of public health epidemics. 

I am interested in how structural inequities in society disproportionally marginalizes social and economic opportunities for survivors. My current work is centered in documenting survivor narratives and community trauma in vulnerable populations. My expertise is in health equity, non communicable disease,  and establishing linkages between clinical and community settings. 


I have a keen interest in providing one-on-one consultation, social equity coaching and passion planning. I strive to help others in their search to ensure their passion meets their purpose in life. I live between Richmond, California, Atlanta, Georgia and Rabat, Morocco.

  • Engaging critical global health and neocolonialism theories, I study how community survivorship is socially constructed in the aftermath of public health epidemics.  
  • Centering the 2014-16 West Africa Ebola epidemic as a case study, I examine how survivor communities in a community in Sierra Leone expereienced community trauma and disaster capitalism. ​​
